Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geoscientist to join our dynamic team in Downtown Halifax. This full-time position offers an exceptional opportunity to apply your geological expertise to a diverse range of projects, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. As a Geoscientist, you will be instrumental in conducting thorough geological investigations, analyzing complex earth data, and providing critical insights that inform engineering, environmental, and resource development initiatives.

You will be responsible for planning and executing field programs, including geological mapping, subsurface investigations, and sample collection, often involving drilling supervision and interpretation of geophysical data. A keen eye for detail and a robust understanding of geological processes are essential as you interpret lithological and structural features, assess geotechnical parameters, and evaluate hydrogeological conditions.
