Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of international assignments, including pre-assignment planning, on-assignment support, and repatriation.
  • Act as a primary point of contact and advisor for assignees and business stakeholders on global mobility policies, processes, and related queries.
  • Coordinate closely with external vendors (immigration service providers, tax consultants, relocation companies) to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
  • Oversee immigration processes, including visa applications, work permits, and residency requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with internal HR, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure compliance with international tax, social security, and labor laws.
  • Conduct compensation analysis for international assignments, including cost projections, balance sheet calculations, and payroll coordination.
  • Develop and deliver assignee briefings, orientation sessions, and ongoing support to ensure a positive relocation experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and data within global mobility systems, generating reports and insights as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of global mobility policies and programs.
  • Stay abreast of global immigration, tax, and relocation trends and regulations to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Global Mobility, International HR, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of international immigration processes and requirements.
  • Familiarity with international tax implications for assignees (e.g., tax equalization, hypothetical tax).
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with global mobility vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Global Mobility management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) certification or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Experience with a global mobility software platform (e.g., AssignmentPro, Workday Global Mobility module).
  • Proficiency in additional languages relevant to a global workforce.
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation or consulting firm focused on global mobility.
