Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with client marketing objectives and overall business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators, editors, and strategists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the end-to-end content production process, from ideation and keyword research to writing, editing, publishing, and promotion across various platforms (blogs, websites, social media, email, video scripts, whitepapers, case studies).
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for SEO and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (SEO, social media, design, sales) to ensure integrated campaign execution and maximize content reach and impact.
- Analyze content performance metrics, derive actionable insights, and iterate on strategies to continuously improve engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, content marketing best practices, and algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage content budgets, resources, and external vendor relationships as needed.
- Champion innovative content formats and distribution strategies to enhance audience engagement and expand brand presence.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (8+ years) in content marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Deep understanding of SEO principles, content optimization, and keyword research tools.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful content strategies that drive measurable results.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience working in an agency environment or managing content for multiple brands.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, user journey mapping, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
