Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s comprehensive data strategy, vision, and roadmap, aligning with overall business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a team of data professionals, including data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable data infrastructure, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, data quality, data security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI capabilities to uncover insights and create data-driven products and features.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and translate them into data initiatives.
- Manage the data budget, technology stack, and vendor relationships.
- Champion a data-driven culture throughout the organization, educating stakeholders on data capabilities and insights.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science, engineering, and analytics.
Required Skills
- Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Proven ability to lead and manage data teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing machine learning and advanced analytical models.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
