Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents/patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene, while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Support mobility and transfers, using equipment safely and effectively as required.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff promptly.
- Assist with feeding and hydration, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
- Engage residents/patients in social activities and provide companionship to promote well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment for residents/patients.
- Document care provided accurately and efficiently, adhering to all privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with residents/patients, their families, and the wider care team.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, including infection control.
- Support the nursing staff in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
