Key Responsibilities

  • Provide initial technical support via phone, email, and chat for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic to intermediate technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior technicians when necessary.
  • Document all incidents, service requests, and resolutions accurately in the help desk ticketing system.
  • Assist users with account management, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions with clear and concise instructions.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of new technologies.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to technical issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or similar.
  • Experience with a ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Basic knowledge of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with remote support tools.
  • Previous customer service experience.
