We provide care for a diverse range of clients, from seniors needing assistance with mobility and personal care to individuals recovering from illness or injury. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with safe transfers and mobility using appropriate aids and techniques.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are observed.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Remind clients to take medications as prescribed and assist with basic health monitoring (e.g., vital signs, if certified).
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and engaging conversation to combat loneliness and promote mental well-being.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as required.
  • Document client care accurately and report any changes in condition or concerns to the supervisory team.
  • Adhere strictly to client care plans, safety protocols, and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
  • Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and perform light household duties.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role.
  • Experience working with diverse client populations, including those with dementia or physical disabilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Multilingualism is considered an asset.
