Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Efficiently handle guest check-outs, processing payments, and resolving any final billing inquiries.
  • Manage reservations, including making new bookings, modifying existing ones, and confirming details via phone and email.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries or providing information as needed.
  • Address guest requests, concerns, and complaints with empathy and efficiency, striving for a swift resolution.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions/dining options.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area and lobby.
  • Operate the property management system (PMS) with accuracy after training.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding guest service, safety, and security.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., email, word processing).
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, food service).

  • Knowledge of a second language is an asset.
