Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all operational aspects of the hotel, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial targets, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of hotel professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain property standards, oversee maintenance, and ensure the upkeep of facilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, community stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Handle crisis management and resolve guest or operational issues effectively and professionally.
Required Skills
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years as a General Manager in an upscale or luxury property.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities with a proven track record of inspiring staff.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales, marketing, and guest service principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
