Key Responsibilities

  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., dishwashers, food processors).
  • Store food and supplies properly, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Support chefs and cooks as needed during service periods, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables according to company policies and environmental guidelines.
  • Monitor and replenish kitchen supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
