Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry items by type, color, and degree of soil before washing.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow proper chemical usage guidelines and safety procedures.
- Fold, stack, and organize linens, towels, and other laundry items according to hotel standards.
- Inspect items for stains or damage, and report any maintenance issues with equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Deliver clean linens to various departments as required.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
