Furthermore, you’ll serve as a vital communication link between various hotel departments – from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance – ensuring seamless information flow and operational efficiency that contributes to an overall smooth guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist guests with luggage handling upon arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Provide accurate information and directions regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation services.
- Assist guests with parking, valet services, and calling taxis or other transportation as requested.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas throughout shifts.
- Deliver newspapers, packages, and other items to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
- Support the front desk and other departments with various tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, safety procedures, and guest service standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
- Operate luggage carts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is an asset, but not required.

- Familiarity with the Gander area and local attractions.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (if valet services are required).
