Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Hotel Porter to join a prestigious hotel environment in the vibrant Crystal Peaks area of Sheffield. As a Hotel Porter, you are often the first and last point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in shaping their overall experience. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring prompt and safe delivery to rooms and efficient collection upon departure.
- Provide accurate and helpful information regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions in Crystal Peaks and wider Sheffield.
- Assist guests with transportation needs, including booking taxis or directing them to public transport options.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Run errands for guests and the front desk team as required, such as delivering newspapers or messages.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces as needed.
- Monitor security of the main entrance and lobby, reporting any suspicious activities to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
