Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a large private residence, ensuring all areas are kept to impeccable standards.
  • Manage, train, and schedule household staff (e.g., housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, drivers), fostering a professional and collaborative team environment.
  • Develop and manage household budgets, track expenditures, and handle all financial transactions with utmost discretion and accuracy.
  • Coordinate and supervise external vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and special projects.
  • Plan and execute private events, dinner parties, and social gatherings, including guest management, catering, and décor arrangements.
  • Implement and maintain robust inventory systems for household supplies, fine art, wine collections, and other valuables.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of the principals and property, including managing access, alarm systems, and confidential information.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the principals, anticipating needs and proactively addressing concerns to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Manage travel arrangements, vehicle fleet, and special requests as needed.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Household Manager or Estate Manager in a high-net-worth private residence.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in budget management, financial tracking, and vendor negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and discreet demeanor.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to household management.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification in hospitality management, estate management, or a related field.
