Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming to ensure all assigned areas are kept in an orderly and hygienic condition.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas, including fixtures, sinks, toilets, showers, and appliances.
- Empty waste bins, replace liners, and properly dispose of all refuse.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in designated areas.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces regularly.
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet shampooers.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs to management.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff and clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role.
- Ability to handle various cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a commercial or corporate cleaning environment.
- Basic understanding of COSHH regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
- First Aid certification is an asset.
