Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene.
- Empty waste bins, transport waste to disposal areas, and manage recycling.
- Replenish supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, paper towels) as needed in client facilities.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, company policies, and client-specific protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
- Manage and maintain cleaning supplies inventory, communicating replenishment needs proactively.
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standard within scheduled timeframes.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients, their staff, and colleagues at all times.
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by being reliable, helpful, and communicative.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper (minimum 6 months in a professional setting).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, and lift for extended periods (up to 25 lbs).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong, demonstrable work ethic.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and safety procedures diligently.
