Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance meet the highest standards.
- Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage.
- Conduct regular quality checks and address any deficiencies promptly and effectively.
- Assist in the recruitment, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions of housekeeping personnel.
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning procedures and protocols to optimize productivity and quality.
- Handle guest complaints and requests pertaining to housekeeping services with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are strictly followed by the team.
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, staff attendance, and supply consumption.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, sound decisions.
- Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to housekeeping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in hospitality management or a related field.
