Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and update HR databases.
  • Assist with the seamless onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome packs, coordinating induction schedules, and processing initial paperwork.
  • Support the full recruitment lifecycle by scheduling interviews, coordinating communication with candidates, and managing job advertisement postings on various platforms.
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Prepare HR-related documentation, such as offer letters, contracts, employee change of terms letters, and performance review forms.
  • Assist in organising company events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Process HR-related invoices and expenses, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as directed by the HR Manager or senior HR team members, including policy reviews and system implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation, supporting a fair and equitable work environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of interacting professionally at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks and data management.
  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in Human Resources and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles or a demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt rapidly in a dynamic field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., HR-related degree, CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate).

  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) software, or a quick aptitude for learning new systems.
