Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our vibrant team in The Grange, Toronto. This full-time, on-site role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our human resources functions, directly impacting our most valuable asset: our people. As an HR Generalist, you will be a central figure in upholding our organizational values, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and supporting our employees throughout their career journey with us.

Your expertise will be crucial in navigating a diverse range of HR responsibilities, from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant provincial (Ontario) and federal employment legislation and regulations.
  • Administer HR programs such as benefits, compensation, and leave management.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
  • Assist in talent acquisition efforts, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Facilitate employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of HR-related training and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and data, leveraging HRIS systems effectively.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and organizational culture.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario and Canadian employment law (e.g., ESA, OHRC).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CHRP/CHRL designation or working towards certification.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or growth-oriented company.
  • Familiarity with various HR metrics and reporting.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment processes.
