Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our remote HR operations. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. As a fully remote organization, we embrace flexibility and trust, and this role will be instrumental in ensuring our HR practices not only support but enhance our distributed workforce model.

The Human Resources Director will serve as a key business partner to the executive team, providing expert counsel and leadership on all HR-related matters. You will be tasked with designing and implementing progressive HR programs that align with our company values and strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations across Canada. This includes overseeing employee relations, maintaining robust HR policies, driving a positive company culture, and ensuring that Hiring.zycto remains an employer of choice. We are looking for a visionary leader who can adapt to a fast-paced environment, champion employee engagement, and cultivate a high-performance culture across our geographically dispersed teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for key roles, ensuring top talent acquisition.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Oversee and manage compensation and benefits programs.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

Required Skills

  • Proven working experience as an HR Director or other senior HR role.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian labour law and HR best practices.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • CHRP/CHRL/CPHR certification.
  • Experience working in a fully remote or hybrid organizational structure.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful HR technology solutions.
  • Experience in the recruitment or staffing industry.
