Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our vibrant team in Gorton, Manchester. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from job description creation and posting to interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general employment matters.
  • Advise and support managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and absence management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and HRIS data, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance (GDPR).
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee induction programs, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start for all new hires.
  • Conduct HR reporting and analysis to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role with a strong focus on recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or equivalent).
  • Experience with a specific HRIS or payroll system (e.g., Sage HR, BreatheHR).
  • Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced or growing organization.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration.
