Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior HVAC technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various HVAC systems.
- Learn to identify and diagnose common HVAC issues under direct supervision.
- Familiarize yourself with and safely use a variety of hand and power tools specific to the HVAC trade.
- Help prepare work sites, including setting up equipment, gathering materials, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Perform basic tasks such as cleaning components, replacing filters, and assisting with system checks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
- Engage actively in all training sessions and mentorship opportunities to continuously develop technical skills and knowledge.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and clear communication on job sites.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong work ethic and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow in a skilled trade.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and possessing a strong sense of responsibility.
