This position demands a comprehensive understanding of provincial and federal immigration policies, strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to client success and ethical practice.
You will manage a diverse caseload from initial consultation to final resolution, ensuring every client receives tailored support and representation. This includes conducting thorough eligibility assessments for a wide range of immigration programs such as Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), Family Sponsorship, Work Permits, Study Permits, Visitor Visas, Humanitarian & Compassionate applications, and Permanent Residency applications. A crucial part of your role will involve the meticulous preparation of all necessary documentation, drafting compelling legal submissions, and corresponding with various government bodies including IRCC, CBSA, and provincial immigration offices. You will also be expected to represent clients effectively before immigration tribunals, the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), and other administrative bodies as required, advocating on their behalf with professionalism, precision, and a deep understanding of legal precedents.
Beyond day-to-day case management, this role involves actively staying abreast of rapidly evolving immigration legislation, policy changes, and jurisprudence. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are paramount for effectively conveying complex legal information to clients from diverse backgrounds and for drafting persuasive legal arguments.
