Key Responsibilities
- Perform general and deep cleaning tasks in industrial settings, including warehouses, production floors, and office spaces.
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, pressure washers, and vacuums.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas to health and safety standards.
- Empty trash receptacles, dispose of waste, and manage recycling programs.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; strip, wax, and buff as required.
- Clean and dust surfaces, machinery, equipment, and fixtures.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervision.
- Ensure proper inventory and usage of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in industrial or commercial cleaning.
- Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment.
- WHMIS certification.
- Valid G-class driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
