Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties in industrial settings, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers (training provided).
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Assist with specific cleaning projects as needed, which may include deep cleaning or specialized waste removal.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily tasks and any potential issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work cart and storage areas.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
