Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a meticulous and client-focused Insurance Advisor specializing in Policy & Claims Processing to join our thriving team in Coleraine. Key Responsibilities

  • Process new insurance policies, renewals, and policy amendments accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle all aspects of claims processing, from initial notification to final settlement, acting as a primary point of contact for clients.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on policy coverage, terms, and conditions, ensuring clear understanding.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, market trends, and regulatory requirements (FCA/PRA).
  • Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, loss adjusters, and other third parties.
  • Manage and resolve client queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and stored securely in compliance with company procedures and data protection regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an insurance advisory, broking, or claims processing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and insurance management software.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of general insurance principles and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACII or Cert CII qualification, or working towards it.
  • Experience with specific insurance CRM or claims management systems.
  • Familiarity with both personal and commercial lines of insurance.
  • A background in a client-facing financial services role.
