Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand clients' financial goals, risks, and insurance requirements.
- Educate clients on various insurance products and services, clearly explaining policy features, benefits, and exclusions.
- Develop customized insurance solutions and present proposals that align with client needs and budget.
- Manage and maintain a growing client portfolio, providing ongoing support, policy reviews, and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and submit accurate insurance applications and related documentation in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new product offerings.
- Adhere strictly to all regulatory compliance standards and company policies.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and product knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven sales acumen and a strong drive to achieve targets
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (CRM, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Insurance License (e.g., LLQP, General Insurance License) for British Columbia
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
- Existing network within the Vancouver or Memorial South Park community
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to the local community
- Previous experience with a CRM system
