Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately count, weigh, and measure items, and record inventory data manually or using scanners.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
- Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse/stockroom.
- Report any damaged or defective inventory immediately to supervisors.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after receiving training.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
