Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts, full physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Process incoming goods, ensuring accurate receipt, inspection, and proper storage.
- Support outbound shipping processes by ensuring correct stock allocation and preparation.
- Monitor stock levels, report on potential shortages, overstock, or slow-moving items.
- Collaborate effectively with receiving, shipping, procurement, and sales departments.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights for operational improvements.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valued member of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and efficient time management.
