Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Investor Relations Manager to join our dynamic team in Bristol. This pivotal role involves acting as the primary liaison between our company, the financial community, and our valued investors. As an Investor Relations Manager – Financial Liaison, you will be instrumental in shaping and communicating our financial narrative, strategic vision, and operational performance to a broad audience of institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders.

You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy that enhances our company’s visibility, credibility, and valuation within the capital markets. This involves meticulously preparing investor presentations, earnings call scripts, press releases, and other critical financial communications. A core aspect of this role is managing relationships, requiring you to serve as a trusted point of contact, handle inquiries, and organize engagements such as investor roadshows, conferences, and one-on-one meetings.

Beyond direct communication, you will continuously monitor and analyze financial markets, competitor performance, and industry trends to provide insightful feedback to our senior leadership. Your ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, compelling messages will be crucial. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy to enhance market perception and valuation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and individual shareholders.
  • Prepare, refine, and distribute high-quality investor materials including presentations, earnings call scripts, annual reports, and press releases.
  • Organize and manage investor roadshows, conferences, earnings calls, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Monitor and analyze financial markets, competitor performance, and industry trends, providing insights to senior management.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from the investment community to inform internal strategy and messaging.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory disclosure requirements, including those from the FCA and relevant exchanges.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, finance, legal, and corporate communications teams.
  • Maintain and regularly update the investor relations section of the company's website.
  • Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with the investment community.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, or a related financial communications role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability in public speaking and professional presentations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets.
  • Proficiency with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv (Eikon), or FactSet.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, investment principles, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA designation or an MBA.
  • Experience within the financial services or investment management industry.
  • Specific knowledge of UK financial regulations and corporate governance practices.
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to international markets.
  • Experience with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting and investor engagement.
