In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the productivity and satisfaction of our users across various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Document all support interactions, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps accurately in the ticketing system.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring timely setup and retrieval of IT assets.
- Contribute to the creation, update, and maintenance of IT knowledge base articles and procedural documentation.
- Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and rollouts as directed by management.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security protocols, and best practices.
- Educate users on IT best practices and system functionalities to minimize recurring issues.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and common desktop applications.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and improving processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar certifications.
- Experience supporting macOS and Apple hardware.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
