Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure components across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Support the monitoring and maintenance of cloud services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud environments, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative measures.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and best practices.
- Contribute to the automation of routine operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications into cloud environments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and security practices, proactively suggesting improvements.
- Participate in regular team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous learning initiatives.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualisation).
- Familiarity with at least one major operating system (Linux or Windows Server).
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, firewalls).
- Basic scripting ability (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
