Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for network-related issues, including connectivity, hardware, and software problems.
  • Monitor network performance and availability, identifying potential issues and escalating them to senior engineers as needed.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi networks, and VPN connections.
  • Document network configurations, incidents, and solutions accurately for knowledge base improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior network staff on ongoing projects and initiatives to improve network infrastructure.
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide guidance on network-related best practices.
  • Participate in scheduled network maintenance activities outside of regular business hours when required.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other fundamental networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with network topologies and common network hardware components.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
