Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop) to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using designated bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure testability of new features.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform thorough regression testing to ensure previously identified defects are resolved and new features don't introduce new issues.
- Participate actively in team meetings, contributing insights and providing updates on testing progress.
- Learn and apply new testing techniques, tools, and best practices as required to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on identified issues and suggest improvements to enhance overall product quality and user experience.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an acute attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective bug reporting and team collaboration.
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and fundamental testing methodologies.
