Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils through regular washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, and dishwashers safely and efficiently after receiving proper training.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the culinary team during peak service periods to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and company policies.
