Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with the unloading, inspection, and organization of kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances at job sites.
- Prepare work areas by protecting floors, walls, and existing structures, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Support the installation process by handing tools and materials, cutting basic materials (e.g., shims, blocking), and helping with measurements.
- Learn to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Assist with the cleanup of job sites, including debris removal and proper disposal of waste materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines meticulously to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and the team.
- Communicate effectively with lead installers, team members, and clients as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the company on client premises.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful completion of kitchen installation projects.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of carpentry or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality work.
