Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead installers with the unloading, inspection, and organization of kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances at job sites.
  • Prepare work areas by protecting floors, walls, and existing structures, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Support the installation process by handing tools and materials, cutting basic materials (e.g., shims, blocking), and helping with measurements.
  • Learn to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
  • Assist with the cleanup of job sites, including debris removal and proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines meticulously to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and the team.
  • Communicate effectively with lead installers, team members, and clients as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the company on client premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful completion of kitchen installation projects.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of carpentry or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable transportation to various job sites across Toronto.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
  • Valid G Class driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in a construction or renovation environment (even voluntary).
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading or measuring techniques.
