Key Responsibilities
- Perform various landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing using appropriate equipment.
- Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery according to design specifications.
- Participate in garden bed preparation, mulching, and precise weeding to maintain pristine aesthetics.
- Safely operate and maintain basic landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
- Assist with the installation of new landscape features, including sod, pavers, and irrigation systems, under supervision.
- Conduct general clean-up of job sites, removing debris, leaves, and trimmings, ensuring a tidy and professional appearance.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with team members, supervisors, and clients (when necessary).
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any malfunctions or needs for repair.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent Hiring.zycto professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Sioux City location and various job sites.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
