Key Responsibilities
- Sort and categorize soiled laundry items according to fabric type, colour, and required cleaning treatment.
- Load and unload industrial washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor laundry cycles to ensure proper cleaning, rinsing, and drying processes.
- Fold, press, and hang clean laundry, ensuring items are free of wrinkles and neatly presented.
- Inspect finished laundry for quality, cleanliness, and damage, reporting any issues to a supervisor.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including basic troubleshooting and cleaning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Stock and organize laundry supplies, reporting low inventory levels as needed.
- Assist with other general duties within the facility as required by management.
