Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Live Concert Manager to join our client’s dynamic team in Chelsea, London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional passionate about live music and dedicated to delivering flawless event execution. As a Live Concert Manager, you will be the linchpin for transforming artistic visions into reality, overseeing all facets of concert production from conceptualisation through to post-event analysis.

Your role will involve comprehensive project management, including budget oversight, logistical coordination, vendor management, and ensuring a world-class experience for artists and audiences alike. You will navigate the fast-paced and exhilarating environment of the music industry, working closely with artists, agents, venues, and production teams. Success in this role demands a unique blend of creativity, meticulous organisational skills, and a calm demeanor under pressure. You’ll be instrumental in enhancing our client’s reputation as a leader in live entertainment, contributing to memorable moments that resonate with thousands. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all logistical aspects of live concert production, including scheduling, staffing, equipment rental, and stage management.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and cost efficiencies are identified.
  • Liaise with artists, artist management, agents, and venues to coordinate technical riders, hospitality, and scheduling.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services (e.g., sound, lighting, security, catering).
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations for all events.
  • Lead and motivate production teams, technicians, and event staff to ensure smooth operations on show days.
  • Conduct thorough post-event analysis, including financial reconciliation, audience feedback, and operational reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential issues, demonstrating quick and effective problem-solving skills during live events.
  • Contribute to the creative planning and conceptualisation of future live music events and tours.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in live music event management or concert production.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale live events from conception to completion.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex event budgets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to live events.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to unforeseen circumstances.
  • A deep passion for live music and understanding of industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Music Business, Arts Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a major music venue, festival, or touring company.
  • Established network of contacts within the UK music industry (artists, agents, vendors, venues).
  • First Aid certification.
  • Proficiency in CAD or other event layout software.
