Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and invoices for accuracy.
- Sort, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as trained and certified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the loading dock and surrounding areas.
- Report any damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required, including waste removal and facility upkeep.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
