Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior loan processors in collecting and reviewing loan application documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within our loan management system.
- Communicate effectively with applicants to obtain necessary documentation and clarify information.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital loan files, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct basic verification checks on applicant information and supporting documents.
- Support the processing team with administrative tasks, including scheduling, filing, and preparing correspondence.
- Learn and adhere to all relevant lending regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, sales) to ensure a smooth and timely loan process.
- Respond to inquiries from applicants and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify and escalate potential issues or discrepancies to appropriate senior staff.
