Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating and tracking shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipment status and potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including data entry into our transportation management system (TMS).
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading, customs forms, and invoices.
  • Help resolve any logistical issues, discrepancies, or customer inquiries with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with order fulfillment processes.
  • Support the senior logistics team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of geographical areas and transportation routes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
