Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Verify accurate package counts and inspect items for damage during loading and delivery.
- Help drivers navigate delivery routes efficiently and identify optimal parking/access points.
- Deliver packages to customers' doors, ensuring a positive and professional interaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and associated equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting, organizing, and preparing shipments when required.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
