Job Description

Hiring.zycto is actively seeking an exceptional Machine Learning Developer specializing in Predictive Systems to join our innovative and growing team in Edinburgh. This is a crucial opportunity to significantly influence the future of intelligent decision-making by designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models. You will be instrumental in building robust predictive engines that drive our core products and services, translating complex datasets into actionable insights and strategic advantages across various business functions. We are looking for someone who is not only proficient in the technical aspects of ML but also possesses a keen understanding of how these systems integrate into broader enterprise solutions to deliver tangible business value.

In this pivotal role, you’ll find yourself at the dynamic intersection of data science, software engineering, and business strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass deep dives into diverse, often large-scale datasets, crafting sophisticated algorithms, and meticulously evaluating model performance to ensure the highest levels of accuracy, reliability, and ethical compliance. You’ll work hands-on with high-volume, real-time data streams, developing scalable and resilient solutions that can adapt and learn over time. We expect you to not only implement pre-defined models but also to contribute significantly to the architectural design of our ML pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring they are efficient, maintainable, secure, and future-proof. This includes selecting appropriate technologies, designing data schemas, and establishing best practices for model lifecycle management.

You will collaborate closely with data scientists, fellow software engineers, and product managers to understand evolving business requirements, define precise technical specifications, and integrate advanced ML solutions seamlessly into our existing and future platforms. This role covers the full lifecycle of ML model development, from initial data exploration and rigorous feature engineering to model training, validation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring in production environments. We highly value a proactive approach, encouraging you to research new technologies, experiment with novel machine learning techniques, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table to continuously improve our predictive capabilities. If you thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment where your technical contributions directly impact product innovation and operational efficiency, and you’re eager to solve complex real-world problems with elegant and powerful ML solutions, then we strongly encourage you to apply. This role offers an unparalleled chance to grow your expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with artificial intelligence.
