Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative team in the heart of Vancouver’s tech ecosystem. As a Machine Learning Engineer – Professional, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models that drive our core products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable machine learning models and algorithms for various applications.
  • Perform extensive data analysis, feature engineering, and model training to optimize performance and accuracy.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production environments, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to define problem statements, gather requirements, and deliver impactful AI solutions.
  • Conduct thorough research on new machine learning techniques and evaluate their applicability to our products.
  • Develop and maintain robust MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for ML models, version control, and model governance.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data structures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including experience with version control (Git) and MLOps principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with specific domains such as natural language processing, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
