Key Responsibilities
- Operate various types of production machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to optimize production flow and product quality.
- Monitor machine operations, identifying and resolving minor malfunctions, stoppages, and deviations from specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet strict company standards and client requirements.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery to extend equipment lifespan and ensure peak performance.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, downtime, and material usage.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production goals.
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing more complex mechanical issues, escalating as necessary.
- Perform material handling tasks, including loading raw materials into machines and offloading finished products.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (1.5+ years) as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Thorough understanding and adherence to safety procedures and practices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Certification in machine operation or a related technical field.
- Experience with specific manufacturing machinery (e.g., CNC, stamping presses, injection molding).
- Forklift certification or experience operating industrial trucks.

- Ability to perform minor machine repairs independently.
