Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training sessions, demonstrating a strong eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
- Assist experienced technicians with routine maintenance tasks across various property systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural elements.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and minor repairs as instructed.
- Respond to and assist in resolving tenant maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and material usage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Perform general upkeep and cleaning of mechanical rooms, tools, and work areas.
- Support inventory management of tools and spare parts.
- Help identify potential issues or hazards and report them to senior technicians or management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless property operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in how things work.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently after training.
- Basic computer proficiency for work order systems and communication.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.
