Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a diligent and experienced Maintenance Worker with a strong focus on repairs and fixing to join our dedicated team in Renfrew, Glasgow. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues.
- Execute repairs including carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address potential maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and fixtures as required.
- Collaborate with other team members and external contractors when necessary.
- Manage and organize maintenance tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker or Handyperson.
- Proficiency in a variety of trades including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to maintenance work.
- Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Good physical condition and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with HVAC systems.
