Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their vision, preferences, and skin type for bridal, event, and special occasion makeup.
- Develop and execute a wide range of makeup styles, from natural and elegant to glamorous and dramatic, tailored to individual client needs and event themes.
- Perform makeup trials for bridal clients, ensuring their complete satisfaction with the chosen look before the big day.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of current makeup trends, techniques, and products within the beauty industry.
- Ensure impeccable hygiene standards for all makeup tools, brushes, and products, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage and organize personal makeup kit, ensuring all necessary products and tools are readily available and well-maintained.
- Provide advice on skincare preparation and makeup aftercare to clients.
- Build strong client relationships, ensuring a positive and memorable experience from consultation to application.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including hairstylists and event planners, to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials by providing high-quality portfolio images of your work (with client consent).
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Makeup Artist, with a strong focus on bridal and event makeup.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing diverse makeup artistry skills across various skin tones and face shapes.
- Proficiency in a wide array of makeup application techniques, including traditional and contemporary styles.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills to accurately interpret client needs and provide expert guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and time management capabilities to handle multiple appointments and deadlines effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of makeup products, brands, and their suitability for different skin types and desired finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
