Key Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting under direct supervision.
- Perform material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct basic quality checks on products to ensure adherence to established standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, diligently following 5S principles.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Support senior production staff with various tasks as needed to maintain production flow.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Package finished products accurately and prepare them for shipment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new tasks, and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical labor role or a fast-paced work environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments (even entry-level exposure).
- Forklift certification (or a strong willingness to obtain it shortly after hire).
- First Aid certification.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
